WordPress tells me that this week it was my one year anniversary with the blogging world – what an auspicious occasion! To mark this milestone I’m going to tell you one thing that I’m really proud of making and I want to hear from you too! What have you sewn that you’re just bursting with pride over?
Post a link too if you like! It can be anything, big or small! I’ll go first:

This dress is amazing – I liked your version so much, I bought the pattern on Vogue the other day on a sale. Very excited about going to buy a fabric for it…

Congratulations on your first year of blogging! You SHOULD be proud of that red dress – it’s very fabulous!
Not sure “proud” is the word I’d use for these pants (I’ve sewn many a thing much more complicated), but I love wearing these (in the appropriate seasons, of course!) http://fftydresses.wordpress.com/2012/05/23/my-very-stylish-pants/

Those are some lovely trousers, well done Karen! One of my goals for this year is to master (or even attempt!) some trousers or shorts.

Great dress, very flattering and well-fitting!
I have also chosen a red dress, in fact my very first project getting back to sewing. A dress I made for my then-boyfriend, now-husband’s dissertation party. It may not be the best technical sewing I have produced, but I’m proud over the fact that I was fearless and chose a silk/chiffon dress as my first project. I had several issues with the chiffon, but with some help from the pattern designer I was able to work it out. Fearless and a bit crazy, I have never attempted chiffon again.
