I’ve been working on two things during the last week – my cape and my evening dress. Im the kind of person who finds it easier doing two things at once. If ones not working I’ll do the other in the meantime, otherwise I’d get too frustrated and possibly implode.
First up – I’m pleased to announce that I’ve finished my m6460 black lacy dress!
I’m still not sure I made the right decision with the lining however I’ll let you make up your own on that one… Photos to come.
My v8776 cape is also coming along nicely.
Its been a lot of work getting it together but I’ll be so proud when its done – my first coat! And luckily I’ve only had ONE broken needle so far:

Dresses & Me 
I have that cape pattern! Haven’t made it yet, but will for fall. I much prefer a cape to a traditional coat– so much easier to wear over bulky sweaters, among other advantages. Can’t wait to see yours!!

I have 2 physical WIP at the moment and 2 more in the planning process. I’ve finally gotten around to cutting the fabric for a messenger bag, now just to pick up the needle. My embroidery project is currently on hiatus until I get over how ugly I think it is ^^;;

I think I have 3 WIPS right now… most recent is a bustier halter top pattern – would be going faster if I wasn’t continually perplexed by BurdaStyle’s instructions, which seems to be a theme. I’m also working on a 50s princess dress (so close!) and that darn neglected bomber jacket. I’ve yet to be brave enough for a coat, well done! š
